Orange

Orange Slovensko, a.s. is the biggest provider of mobile telecommunications services as well as the biggest telecommunications operator in Slovakia. It has more than three million active customers. Orange uses the support of local internal and external suppliers of IS for creating its information systems. Since 2003, one of them has also been Centaur, a.s., member of the Softec Group. During this period experts of Centaur, a.s. have cooperated on a large number of projects.

Summary of individual projects:

• eOP operational plans records – application for management of operational plans (project budgeting), reference source of data for preparation of an operational plan, generating financial summaries based on specific versions (forecasts).
• Billing – Fusion Work mediation – implementation of modules for individual types of services in Fusion Works (meditating tool).
• XBF – XML Bill Formatter – development of a tool for invoicing data transformation (for a specific invoicing period) from XML format into XGF (Xerox – large-scale printing) and PDF (electronic distribution through Electronic invoice service) formats.
• Central Customer Datamart – in this project extraction of data for the mother company's reporting was carried out. Data extracted was from the following areas: personal customer data, customer phone calls, invoices, re-charging, and so on.
• Post-paid Traffic– processing of post-paid calls on a detailed level, creating aggregated tables for DM and reports. Resolved issues of double records, processing speed.
• Churn Datamining – Centaur experts cooperated in the preparation of data exports for the Churn datamining project– the goal was to evaluate the probability of a customer cancelling a contract based on their previous behaviour.
• Admin module pro load of data into DWH - Centaur experts created and continue to maintain an application which manages automatic activation of DWH loading, monitoring of loading activation dependences, monitoring of load process, reporting errors, clearing disk space
• Slow loading optimization – slow loading optimization.
• CDRTool – ETL application for storing CDR data on a detailed level, creating reports needed for the legal and security department, police department and the office of public prosecution.
